Julianne Moylan is a highly regarded fiddle player, performer, recording artist & music teacher.

An All-Ireland Fiddle Champion, Julianne is steeped in the heritage and culture of Irish traditional music.  As a recording artist and performer, she has toured the US and Europe and made radio and television appearances in the UK and Ireland.  Julianne is now living, playing and teaching traditional music in Clane, Co. Kildare.

I have known Julianne now for close on eighteen years and in that time we have played many many live performances both as a duo and in various band line ups. We have also worked together in the recording studio and I can honestly say she is one of my favourite musicians to work with. Not only is she an excellent fiddle player who can hold her own with anyone but she is also great in the way she approaches any project whether it’s a live performance or recording. A true professional anyone who chooses her as a tutor will be glad they did so. As a person she is always a joy to be around.

Julianne learned her music from the very finest tutors available in the UK and Ireland and has consequently become a very fine tutor herself. She has been a welcome face on the London Session scene for many years, is a seasoned performer, having toured extensively in the UK and across Europe, and recently taught for the Feíth An Cheoil School of Traditional Irish Music, one of the most prestigious music schools in London. I have first hand professional experience of Julianne as a Performer, Recording Artist and Music Teacher. She demonstrates a highly professional approach to her work and is of impeccable character.

Julianne has a great personality, and is a brilliant teacher too. Recently she worked with me as a music tutor at Feíth An Cheoil School of Traditional Irish Music in London. She has a very personable approach, building rapport very easily with the students and has great understanding and empathy. She was a fantastic asset to the School and I was sorry to see her go. However I am delighted that Julianne is now teaching in Blackrock passing on her talents and inspiration to others.
